There is a difference between a protest on the street about people of color being killed by police and the actual leader of the country egging on supporters — including white supremacists and Nazis — to attack a branch of our government violently. I am just wondering if you see the difference here.

Trump always includes plausible deniability in what he says. And, he did not stop Giuliani from shouting “trial by combat!” on January 6; nor did he stop any of the other calls to violence that were happening in all the months prior.

Nor did he concede the election which he should have done immediately, so we could have a peaceful transition of power during a global/national health crisis & economic crisis. (Not to mention a climate emergency which he does not even believe in and which threatens us all, horribly)

This does not mean that all of his supporters are savvy to his mental illness, nor support the insurrection. Most of them are under some kind of weird spell.

But the man has been a liar and a grifter all his life using mafia techniques to build his “Empire”. This is clear from the many, many books that have been written about him and any objective view of his history.

He is dangerous and believes his own lies. It is appalling. Supported must begin to separate from him and his lies. I know many love him. But he is a liar, a crook & likely a sociopath. Sorry.
