I’ve been doing some research & I think you are right for a core part of this population. However I would not say that about 75 or 72 million people or however many voted for Trump. There are some shades of gray going on. Also I would add the dominant profile of a Trump voter is a white man. An older white man, and I guess you could add in an uneducated older white man. I think this has to do with their own feelings of vulnerability (buried) and losing power in the United States. There are other ways to deal with these emotions but I guess they’re willing to see this country just completely fail. That’s too bad. But after slavery & indigenous genocide, are we surprised? Also, how do you know this firsthand? Did you come from Trump country?
