I think by the word "riots" you mean "protests." Or what? There may have been some rioting at BLM protests, but the vast majority were entirely peaceful. It is an interesting historical note to see that the newspapers in the 1960s (particularly in the South) also referred to MLK's marches and protests as riots and as "causing" violence, when all the violence was actually caused by white men and the police. I assume you are white, and can thus afford to be dismissive of "identity potitics" because you yourself have never been the victim of violence or prejudice based on your identity. No officer has ever kneeled on your neck. You have never been afraid to be pulled over (I assume?) ... I believe you are in a bubble and would do well to listen to others and try to understand this world more deeply ... Have you read White Rage and Caste?
