I respect that this is your story and experience but nearly every e “liberal” and more so, Progressive person I know around here is trying to help take care of our homeless community, advocate for our homeless community, advocate for working people, act for a livable planet and many are going without in order to be able to do this. I myself have cleaned toilets in the past, held catering & waitressing jobs, and I absolutely had to work my way through college. I am not clear where the idea of liberal got caught up with wealthy. I think we have a lot of misconceptions about who is who and clearly a lot of stereotypes all around. There are a lot of wealthy Trump supporters and in fact it is starting to look like racism is more of a factor then wealth or poverty in terms of voting for Trump. I understand there is resentment and we should not make fun of and mock each other but perhaps attacking in either direction is not helping.
