I have been surprised at how progressive Biden is seeming, for who he is. It seems to me the Dems are offering cash to working families, actually; a fair minimum wage, at least talking about increased health care coverage and taxing the wealthy & corporations at fairer rates.

So, how racist and xenophobic does one need to be to reject all of this for misogyny and Nazi/Russian inspired conspiracy theories & propaganda about pedophiles and a global cabal? People need to take some responsibility for themselves, their self education & for pushing Democrats toward a more progressive and equitable vision. Otherwise, who is your audience here and what do you want them to do?

For now, I see hope mostly in POC solidarity and the awakening of white people to the many, many ways racism & sexism, etc. hurt all of us (See also: People’s Action & Swing Left, doing grassroots organizing.)
