I have been calling Trumpism “fascism” for some time, with a lot of push back from the Right (clearly) and even the Left (or moderate Dems). I looked it up a long while ago & Trump ticked all the boxes: erosion of & attacks on democracy; lies upon lies; scapegoats everywhere; uber patriotism — but mostly among & for one group, that is: whites/evangelical Christians; military parades & displays of machismo & power; the stoking of violence; cult like obedience/worship from followers; elaborate & bold disinformation campaigns; creation of internal enemies; an overall sense of cruelty … If it goose steps likes a duck, well, it may be a duck. Get moving, America! I recommend People’s Action as a good place to start.
