By pushing and accepting the hateful lies of Qanon, hysterical pro-gun conspiracies, pro-fundamentalist Christian and anti-“liberal“ propaganda via Fox News, OAN, the New York Post (not as blatant) and a few others. Qanon has been a major threat, with propaganda lifted directly from the Nazi era (“Elders of Zion”). Mostly: engendering & encouraging fear and hatred of large groups of Americans. Division, anger, fear of the “other.” Pretty typically fascist. Not to mention the cult leader. You need one of those.
